NEMS CONFIDENTIALITY & INFORMATION BARRIER POLICY

NEMS Warehousing & Logistics ("NEMS") is sensitive to relationships between warehouse operators and traders within the industry. We believe that it is important that you know how we treat information and data particular to your operations.

All NEMS employees globally are aware, understand and are signatories to the NEMS confidentiality and information barrier policy. This Chinese Walls policy outlines the invisible barrier that exists between NEMS staff, its operations and information technology (IT), and parties external to NEMS.

NEMS recognises that information or data may be used for financial or malicious gain and has implemented auditable procedures to ensure that sensitive information, data or material is not passed on by its employees or accessible to other parties. As an accredited Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) NEMS also places a strong emphasis on I.T. protection, Document access protection, Physical access restrictions and Stock and Infrastructure protection.

Any NEMS personnel identified as being necessarily exposed to information and data from both warehouse and trader operations (i.e. "sitting across the barrier") have committed to confidentiality agreements and are made known to all NEMS staff globally.

We are audited annually by both third party auditors as well as LME auditors and as with all accredited authorised economic operators we have been rigorously audited on safety and security by HMR&C.
